DIY Wedding Projects

Let’s be real, weddings can be stressful and time consuming! Not to mention all the decisions you have to make throughout the planning process. When it comes to decorating your wedding venue, sometimes opting for DIY projects can be a fantastic way to cut back on costs and add a personal flair to the environment. Today we’re sharing some of our favorite ideas for DIY wedding projects!

Bouquet Arrangements

Consider putting together your own bouquet arrangements! Find materials that reflect your personal style and wedding color palette. You can fill in your bouquets with local greenery, foraged flowers, or even something from a nearby garden if you don’t have a florist nearby.

Schedule for the day

Use a wooden pallet to show the schedule of events for your wedding day! This will help keep your guests in the know, and it will offer a more affordable option than printing out programs. It’s great for the environment!

Flower Girl's Basket

You can fill up your flower girl’s basket yourself by adding in a combination of silk and paper petals as opposed to spending the extra money on having a basket put together professionally. You can even ask your florist to add a couple of fresh petals right before the ceremony if you like!

Succulent centerpieces

Succulents are available pretty much everywhere and can be a great option for centerpieces. It will add a nice fresh touch to the reception decor, making your guests feel right at home!

Thrift boho-chic rugs for aisle runners

You don't have to use the traditional white aisle runners you've seen at other weddings. Think outside the box when it comes to aisle runners with bohemian rugs. Rugs and wooden frames in the back can make an outdoor wedding cozy and intimate!
